Bali Women Crisis Centre (BWCC)

Bali Women Crisis Centre Legal Aid (LBH BWCC) is a non-governmental organization that aims to become a learning center of legal services for women and children, and actively engages in advocacy activities for the realization of gender equality and justice.

Within the scope of the assistance program, LBH BWCC targeted women victims of violence with assistance that include: consultation, legal services, and the provision of security for victims through safe house. Whereas in the scope of the recovery action program, LBH BWCC took the initiative in mobilizing civil society on gender issues through creative economic training activities, joint action, and advocacy of several government policies especially concerning the position of women in customary law in Bali.
