BEM FH UNUD Holds Discussion on Implementation of Regulations, as a Milestone in Fighting Sexual Violence

The Student Executive Board (BEM) FH UNUD discussed the theme “Implementation of Regulations as a Milestone in the Struggle Against Sexual Violence: Recognize, Prevent, Report” on Saturday (26/8) at the FH Unud Denpasar Campus

Reporting from https://www.unud.ac.id/in/berita-fakultas3543-BEM-FH-UNUD-Selenggarakan-Diskusi-Implementasi-Regulasi-Sebagai-Tonggak-Melawan-Kekerasan-Seksual.html, currently there are 2 (two) regulations governing sexual violence, namely the Sexual Violence Crime Law (TPKS Law) and Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 30 of 2021 concerning Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Environments.

This discussion aims to find the common thread between the two regulations and their implementation presents 3 speakers, namely: from the law enforcement element AKBP Ni Luh Kompyang Srinadi, SIK., MH (Kasubdit IV Ditreskrimum Bali Regional Police) who presented material on the Role of the Police in PPKS at Bali Regional Police Legal Area), from the LBH Bali Women Crisis Center, Ni Nengah Budawati, SH., MH who shared the story about the resolution of the sexual harassment case by Sulinggih and as the final speaker from the UNUD FH criminal law lecturer who is also the Chair of the UNUD PPKS Task Force, I Gusti Agung Ayu Dike Widhiyaastuti, SH., MH with material focus on the Implementation of PPKS in the UNUD Environment.

In general, this activity is expected to open students' insight into KS, the TPKS Law, Ministerial Regulation 30/2021 and be able to grow students' commitment to preventing sexual violence, especially at FH UNUD.
