Women Crisis Centre Legal Aid Institute, Socializes Mother and Child Protection in Bangli Prison
The Women Crisis Centre Legal Aid Institution (WCC) conducted legal counseling for inmates at Bangli Prison this morning (5/3). Attended by dozens of inmates and accompanied by the Head of the Sub-Division of Detention Services, I Made Jaya Sentana, the activity proceeded orderly and enthusiastically in the Graha Jagadhita Hall of Bangli Prison.
The topic discussed this time was common issues in society, namely the protection of mothers and children as well as domestic violence which still frequently occurs in society. Facilitated by expert speakers, Mrs. Budawati and Mrs. Ni Ketut Sudiani, the discussion was conducted smoothly and informatively.
The Head of the Sub-Division of Detention Services, I Made Jaya Sentana, conveyed that such activities are part of the educational programs scheduled by the prison authorities. "Furthermore, we express our gratitude to the foundation and LBH (Legal Aid Institute) for collaborating with us, particularly the Women Crisis Centre today, allowing activities like this to be realized and sustained," stated Jaya.
